Fun place with good wines. We visited Sept 2022 and we're able to get sandwiches, couldn't today with a wedding being prepped. Overall a nice visit and beautiful building an grounds.

Nice winery located off the Great River Road National Scenic Byway. We stopped in for a wine tasting and enjoyed a couple glasses of wine after riding the Cassville Car Ferry from WI. The service was good and the girl helping us was friendly. They offer 4 or 5 samples for free or you can get 10 for a small fee. I felt like the wines were more on the sweeter side overall, but they were enjoyable and it was a nice break from driving/sightseeing. There's plenty of seating with areas in front and back when you walk in. There are two fireplaces in the front seating areas with TVs. It was early in the day so no fires, but they did have football on which I'm sure the men appreciated! They also had a cute shop with a variety of snacks, shirts, and whimsical gift-shop type stuff for sale. Great place. Definitely worth stopping in.

The cassville farmall museum had a group of friends an neighbors an staff was very accommodating . The ride across the cassville car ferry had beautiful scenery up to promiseland winery
Called ahead and asked if we needed reservations. I had questions, but she seemed really rushed, cut me off and dismissed me right away. Got there and asked if we had a reservation. We did get a table right away though. The place looked nice, but the service staff is not welcoming. The pizza was okay, but a little overcooked. We might have stayed longer to try more of the wines because there was a good selection. Overall, not a great experience. I've been to other wineries with better selections and nicer people.
Great experience on a Sunday at promiseland. There was wonderful live music, very kind and helpful staff, and lots of choices for wine and drinks.
The thin crust pizza here is also one of the best pizzas in the Dubuque area.

Highly recommend! My girlfriend and I come here almost every weekend especially sundays for the live music! We always order the meat lovers pizza which gets better and better every time we go! The atmosphere there is one of the best parts of that place. Plus Customer service is out of this world.! If you haven’t been you must go.
Premier venue for any event. Great singers and bands play weekends. Heavenly wine slushies and delicious pizza. Staff engaging and accommodating. Always a fun filled weekend visiting with friends. A large selection of Promiseland wines to enjoy at home too.
